Raj and Meera make their relationship work after some betrayal and patching up, only to have it shattered by a major betrayal from her own tribe, which leads to their separation.
There is a lot of romance that follows, flowers, candle light dinners, and all kinds of hackneyed lovely incidents which bring Raj and Meera even closer. He is a mean machine who can do almost anything until he meets Meera (Kajol), at which point he transforms from a mean machine to a softie the only problem is that he doesn't know her true identity. The plot centres around two feuding Bulgarian mobster groups! Randhir Bakshi (Vinod Khanna) is an Indian don who is continuously at odds with Malik (Kabir Bedi), a former friend turned foe! Raj (Shahrukh Khan) is Randhir's adopted son who is his ace in this clan conflict and thanks to him, he is able to win all the riches from Malik.
